Tatiana Gurbanov obtained her Master degree in Law at the University of Geneva and received in 2010 the award for the best grades of the first session from the Société genevoise de droit et legislation (SGDL). After successfully completing a two-year traineeship and obtaining the certificate of advanced studies in legal profession, she passed the Geneva bar exam top of her class and was sworn in as a lawyer.
Following several years of collaboration, she was promoted partner of a Geneva law firm. There she specialised in tenancy law and became Certified Specialist SBA Tenancy Law.
She joined Bory & Partners as of January 1st 2021, as partner.
Tatiana Gurbanov regularly litigates before the civil and administrative jurisdictions, particularly in cases of estate and real estate, as well as family litigations.
She intervenes as a guardian for the representation and wealth management of individuals protected by decisions from the Court for the protection of adults. In this field, she holds a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in health law.
Thanks to her expertise in real estate law, she has been elected as deputy judge at the Rent and Lease Tribunal and as speaker during conferences organised by the Real Estate Chamber (CGI) and the Bar Council’s Training Permanent Commission. She also teaches land law at the Professional Association of Property Managers and Brokers (APGCI).
She is a member of the Swiss Bar Association (SBA), the Geneva Bar Association (ODAGE) and the President of the Geneva Women Liberal-Radical Party (PLR) Association.
